Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos
The Narwal Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot vacuum and mop combos I've tested. Its base station has an enormous water tank as well as a dustbin, and its double rubber brush is less likely to tangle hair than single bristles.
Its mopping performance is strong and its AI mapping is excellent at eliminating obstacles. It can also stop the cleaning process and resume from where it was when it stopped.
1. Roomba Combo j9+
The Roomba Combo J9+ is a robot mop that doubles as a vacuum cleaner that is among the most sophisticated on the market. It has a sleek, self-emptying Clean Base that can store up to two mopping cycles. It is designed to look like a small desk. It's also the only robot mop we tested that comes with a water reservoir on board that automatically cleans and refills the cleaning pads after each vacuum and mopping cycle.
The mopping arm rests quietly on the top of the unit until it spots hard floors, then lowers to begin cleaning. It is able to move slowly and with care over surfaces so it doesn't accidentally splash wet mud or spills across carpeted areas. It does a good job of staying out of the path of cords, furniture, and other obstacles.
It's more intelligent than other robot vacuums, thanks to the iRobot Home app, which allows you to modify your cleaner's settings and prioritize rooms based on dirtiness setting cleaning schedules and times and much more. The app also offers detailed maps of your home, seasonal tips, custom cleaning routines, and a variety of smart-home integrations that are easy to use.
This robot-vac and mop utilizes iRobot's Imprint Smart Mapping technology to recognize objects such as counters, sofas, and tables. It can be controlled using Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri making it simple to clean your home.
Unlike other vacuum and mopping robots that are available, the Roomba J9+ is able to create a complete map of your home seven times faster than previous models and also labels each space by floor type, making sure that it will always be aware of when to vacuum or mop where you want it. It also comes with a brand new Turbo Mode that boosts suction power for tough spots. With iRobot’s Dirt Detective it can learn about your habits of cleaning and adjust the cleaning priorities and settings to the most filthy areas of your home.
2. Yeedi M12 Pro+
With its top-quality features and user-friendly controls for the app, the Yeedi M12 Pro+ is a strong contender in the field of automatic vacuum and mop combo robots. automated vacuum cleaner and ingenuous mopping technology make it a perfect cleaning companion for smart homes. Its smart automation and affordable cost make it a great choice for households that are on a budget.
To get started with the M12, simply download and launch the Yeedi app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. After connecting the app will prompt you to choose a unique name for your new robot. It's important to remember that the M12 can only be used on 2.4 GHz networks only.
The M12 comes with a variety of cleaning options, including vacuuming and mopping. Its innovative design lets it map a room in just six minutes and adjust its cleaning path according to. Its advanced mopping features include two spinning pads and electronically controlled water and a "True Edge" Adaptive Edge Mopping System that ensures a thorough cleaning of all edges.
In terms of navigation, the M12 uses LiDAR, IR, and 3D structured light to avoid obstacles. Its sensors are adept at picking up larger objects such as HVAC vents and furniture. However, they struggle with smaller objects, such as cables and small rags which could cause the robot to miss certain spots.
The M12's built-in inclinometer allows it to recognize and navigate up and down stairs. It can also return automatically to its OMNI Station to clean and dry the mop brushes, and replenish its water tank. When the batteries run out and the OMNI Station is empty, the OMNI Station can even clean itself and empty the dustbin when its batteries are low.
3. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot cleaner is at the forefront of robotic cleaning. It packs a variety of features in a small package. It has a high mopping capacity as well as camera capabilities to assist in avoiding obstacles. It also comes with a powerful vacuum that detects when it is sweeping over carpets. It also comes with advanced technology and voice assistant capabilities.
It's an extremely powerful mop and vacuum cleaner. It completed our 1,500 square foot test area in just over 101 minutes, but the battery died and it returned to its dock. Its mop cleans itself between use, which reduces maintenance costs and helps keep its pads clean. In addition it has a dock sensor that detects the moment that the mop's pad gets dirty and prompts washing to keep it clean.
Like its predecessors and its predecessors, like its predecessors, the S8 MaxV Ultra features an intelligent system that can detect household objects like shoes and pet waste with cameras and LIDAR combo. It performed well in our evaluation of obstacle avoidance, with only one hiccup during my testing (it was stuck when in unwinding a ball of wool that was wrapped around its brush arm).

The S8 MaxV Ultra comes with a brand new suction power of 10,000pa. power, more than twice its predecessor. This makes it a great choice for homes with carpeting in abundance and different kinds of flooring. The vacuum can also be set to automatically increase suction when moving over dirt or crumbs.
As with previous models, there are docking stations that can be placed in various rooms to automate the process of cleaning and mopping. The docking station is connected to the home plumbing system, and it will drain and replenish the tank of water when you're done.
4. Dreametech X40 Ultra
The Dreame X40 Ultra is the most recent model of the top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop from Dreame and comes with several features that the company's less expensive models do not have. It is an impressive suction power and can mop floors easily. It also comes with many advanced features, including self-detangling roller brushes and auto-extending mop heads that make it a great option for cleaning hands-free. The X40 Ultra offers automatic cleaning of its base station and dust collector filter. The mop pads are automatically cleaned in hot water, and then drained and the drained water tank is emptied automatically after each cleaning session.
It has some advanced options to customize the cleaning schedule, such as selecting a specific time to start and end each cycle or selecting whether it should vacuum carpets before mopping. It is also able to be instructed to re-clean areas that are particularly dirty and then increase the suction power around litter boxes for cats as well as pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra is programmable to perform specific tasks, for example, cleaning a bathroom toilet or kitchen sink. It can be programmed to automatically raise the front side of the brush when it detects wet areas and remove debris from the edges and baseboards.
The X40 Ultra is easy to set up and use, with a simple and intuitive app and a wide range of features. It is quieter than many corded vacuums and only occasional low hums of its motor, and occasional bursts of suction when cleaning. Its navigation system is awe-inspiring, as it uses an image camera, 3D structured light and multiple lasers to locate and avoid obstacles, and this helps the X40 Ultra achieve one of the top scores for obstacle avoidance in our tests.
5. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is an impressively powerful mop and vacuum combination that was designed to be user-friendly. The base station, which is gunmetal-colored, is self-emptying and fills its own tank with clean water. It automatically emptying the dust bin into a smaller container it washes and dry its own mop pad in between cleaning sessions. It has advanced features that let it switch between hard and carpet surfaces, remove pet hair from carpets and clean high-level thresholds in rooms.
The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping thanks to its internal dToF system. It is able to maintain an unobtrusive appearance while providing the best in object detection. It can drive close to walls without crashing, and avoids steps, and also automatically raises its mop when driving over rugs or carpets with a short pile. However, it struggled with longer-pile carpets and large, thick messes of dried-on debris.
Like most robots, the S1 Pro comes ready to take off from the box, and requires only an initial mapping session to figure out how it can navigate your home. The map will be displayed in the app and you can join or add rooms as you need to. You can also set virtual boundaries as well as no-go zones if there's something you do not want the robot to touch.
The S1 Pro does a great job of removing messes from hard floors, thanks to its rotating mop head that puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to vacuum and mop is a great option for homes with both types of flooring. However, its dependence on Eufy cleaning products (which are included in the box) makes it less adaptable than other robots which allow you to use your own cleaning products.
